As a devoted father and husband, family is one of the most important aspects of my life. With a family of four, I've embraced the reality that everyday, my wife and sons are awaiting me with tremendous amount of love to come home. When I come home safely, I am energized and ready to laugh, play, sing, and dance with them. My family depends on me to come home safely everyday! A prominent EHS colleague of mine, Stephen C. Carpenter, said it best, "Occupational safety & health matters not only to our employers and colleagues but also to our families and friends! Whether we realize it or not, we all depend on each other every day for so much in this life. Our families and friends literally count on us coming home safe and healthy after every shift for support, love, guidance, leadership,..." I am all about staying safe and healthy not only for myself, but for my co-workers, and especially for my loved ones. I am making safety very personal.
