A leader known for integrity, humility, and commitment to safety, quality, and transforming the delivery of care. After 30 years of nursing experience in diverse locations including an outpost health center in Canada's arctic, volunteer community development in Guyana, and many years in academic tertiary care centers, I continue to learn and work toward transforming healthcare- it is now even more urgent. I wholeheartedly became a student of Lean in 2010 while serving as a leader in Pediatric hem/onc/bmt. I was one of the inaugural members of the Lean office at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland helping to accelerate the transformation in the first 5 years. I’m continuing on the journey with a creative, thoughtful, and growing team at PeaceHealth in the Pacific Northwest. Grateful to learn and face the challenges with caregivers at this organization every day.
