Kimberly Burch

I strive to be my best and make a positive difference, whether it's in the home, workplace, classroom, or organ loft. Growing up in historic and beautiful Otter Creek Park, I learned to care for and appreciate the environment while respecting history and preserving our heritage. It's no surprise that much of my government experience turned out to be in natural resources. I am fortunate to have been able to attend Centre College and have a solid foundation in science and humanities. A liberal arts education enhanced my critical and analytic skills, and provided me with a globally-informed perspective, making me a better problem-solver. Graduate degrees honed my reading and writing skills, and prepared me for statistical and spreadsheet analysis as well. Government experience sharpened my ability to integrate departmental functions while aligning positions with agency goals and objectives. Taking a hands-on, active role in furthering policy and objectives has enabled me to continue learning and advancing my career. My work experience - though curtailed by raising children - has been rewarding and confirmed my abilities to generate success. I have gained a wealth of experience and soft skills in program administration, project management, and organizational success. I am well-rounded, interested, and interesting! On weekends you will find me visiting historical properties and museums, or discovering a new hiking trail that connects me to my beloved Kentucky.
