Dr. Kirsten Johnson MD, MPH specializes in women's health and antiaging with a clinical practice in Montreal. Passionate about skin care and anti-aging, Dr. Johnson has trained and certified in medical aesthetics, advanced skin care and sclerotherapy. Dr. Johnson is Past-President of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians. She practices Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto Health Network (UHN) hospitals and regularly locums in the Inuit and Cree villages of Nunavik and in Newfoundland and Labrador. Dr. Johnson is a member and past-Director of Canada's Quebec/Atlantic Chapter of the Explorers Club and a fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society. She has traveled in over 120 countries, retraced Marco Polo's steps along the Northern route of the Silk Road, trekked the Mustang Valley in Nepal, covered India on a motorbike, walked across Borneo and climbed Aconcagua in Argentina. She aims to do an ocean crossing as part of the 2023-2024 Clipper sailing race around the world. She is an avid mountaineer, snowboarder and SCUBA diver. In 2010, Dr. Johnson was awarded the Segal Centre’s Januscz Korczak award for her work on protecting the rights of children in conflict and the Award of Excellence for her work in global health by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2011.
