Kirsten Meadows

I graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2017 with a 3.77 GPA from the Bachelor of Sciences in Education program at Indiana Tech. I have had extensive teaching experience in the Region 8 area. This includes working with other teaching professionals, working with technology in the classroom, dealing with issues for students and parents, and understanding compassion for students with different learning abilities and backgrounds.My professional experience consists of substitute teaching and practicum hours throughout school. During my substitute teaching, I have adapted lesson plans left by classroom teacher in appropriate manner. I always monitor students while they work and provide feedback when they ask questions. At the end of the day, I provide an accurate report of student behavior and what we, as a class, accomplished. During my practicum, I observed the teacher and student behavior in the classroom. I prepared and taught Math, Science, and Language Arts lessons for various grade levels, and adapted some of these lesson plans while executing the prepared lesson. I am creative, organized, and can carry great classroom instruction with commitment to teaching and expertise in developing meaningful relationships with students, identifying and working on their needs, aspirations, and strengths.
