I have several years’ experience as a Marine Geophysicist at the British Geological Survey where I provided geophysical support to Geologists mapping the offshore sea-bed substrate, morphology and Quaternary geology of the UKCS, utilising multibeam echosounder, backscatter and shallow seismic data. I was responsible for the quality control of seismic and bathymetric data, data processing and final product production along with seismic software support. This involved preparing, capturing and analysing data from multiple sources including Microsoft Excel, converting data into GIS formats, digitising map data and creating final bathymetric products for inclusion in geological maps and reports. I worked closely with stakeholders, offshore surveyors, data management and interpretation teams ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. I am competent with a variety of software packages including ESRI ArcGIS, IHS Kingdom, Openworks, Caris, and Coda.
