I started my career with an great interest and fascination of how various processes related to mechanics and electrics worked together in harmony to produce an end product. That is why I choose to study and get my certificates as both an industrial mechanic and an industrial electrician. I must say that I have been very satisfied with my choice of career and I have never regretted the starting point of my career. After my time as an apprentice at Hustad Marmor I wanted to travel the world and learn more. Luckily there was an open position at Brunvoll AS as an service technician. In my job as an service technician I got to travel world wide to practice and expand both my mechanical and electrical skills. This job was both exiting and challenging. The part I found most interesting was the coordination of personnel with different cultures and nationalities. That is also why I started to look into other opportunities internally at Brunvoll to get greater and more challenges in the field of coordination, project management and personnel coordination. So after 3 years as a traveling service technician, I changed position at Brunvoll to an office based position as Senior Service Technician. Here I got to coordinate jobs, coordinate personnel and be a front person towards our customers. During my job as a Senior Service Technician I noticed an growing interest in management, and I therefore decided to study management at a private school called BI in Oslo, in coherence with my job at Brunvoll. Once I completed my management course, I got an offer to work as an Service Manager for Installation & Commissioning at Brunvoll. Here I am also currently working and I am very pleased with the challenges related to my position. I still do some small amount of traveling as a service technician in order to maintain my knowledges in the mechanics and electrics.
