Konnor Fink

I'm a military aircraft maintainer with aspirations of moving into the pilot seat full time. I began my journey with flight at Kent State University pursing an Aviation degree. At 18, I learned very quickly how expensive college and flying could be, so I joined the Air National Guard to take advantage of the benefits for students. After 4 years of schooling with some help from the Air National Guard, I hold one bachelor degree, one completed associate degree, and a private pilot certificate. I also spent time Europe, Southwest Asia, and the Caribbean assisting on missions of a humanitarian relief, joint training exercises, and counter-terrorism operations. Currently, I work full time with the Air national Guard and love my job. However, the ideal situation is to combine my love of flying with the curiosity of what happens to our aircraft once they leave the Airbase. I want to be the person flying the planes, not fixing them. I've know what hard work is, I know how dedicated a person must be to fly, and I know I can be a worthwhile addition to any squadron.
