For over 12 years in the IT field I have participated in numerous projects gaining valuable experience from various positions as software engineer, security officer and manager. Disciplined, self-motivated, with strong team spirit and well-rounded experience, I have acquired an holistic view in both technical aspects and managerial ones. Currently, I am in the key role position of Chief of Cyber Security and Software Development at Digital Transformation Division, from which I have the opportunity to manage on-going activities such as: • Redesign and implementation of the Cyber Security activities, reducing possible vulnerabilities and managing the overall process. • Digital Transformation actions including cost reduction, elimination of time-consuming processes and improvement of co-workers productivity. • Development and/or definition the technical specification of new applications according the needs of the company. • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, processes and managing budget. I also have a solid background as a full stack web developer with industry experience building websites and web applications. So far, I have professional experience in PHP, JavaScript, Elasticsearch, CSS, SASS, HTML, MySQL, MSSQL, MVC, jQuery, Bootstrap, Foundation, SEO. Moreover, I am efficient in problem-solving and able to teach myself but also learn from my colleagues. Key aspects of my character are the objective orientation, the attention to details and the adoption of “Act like an owner” attitude. I have valuable work experience as a freelancer; as an employee in a world leading freelancing platform; I have worked remotely for companies located in Cyprus; I gained valuable experience working in the public sector; and also I was co-founder and developer in a sailing online platform startup company.
