Koray Koral

Born in 1968, Koray Koral completed his primary and secondary education in Germany. Afterwards, Koray, who started Commerce High School, made a definite return to Turkey with his family and graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School's Natural Sciences German Department in his hometown Izmir and continued his language education at Dokuz Eylul University Econometrics department. Koray, who started his active business life in 1987, took the first step in the logistics sector in 1992 in Bayerischer Lloyd, a sub-branch of RHENUS, a subsidiary of the German Stinnes group, during his university years. Koral, who coordinated the transportation of the Torbalı OPEL Factory, was a key member and idea father of the team that started the first Bloktrain transportation between Turkey and Germany in 1994. While he was in Rhenus, he transferred all the construction equipment of the Lurgi Lentjes Bischoff Consortium, which received the tender for the construction of the Izmir Metro, which is one of the important investments of Izmir. It carried out the transportation of many Projects such as the Substation in Konak "Bahribaba", Ankara Wastewater facilities, Izmit Garbage Incineration plant, Yatağan Thermal Power Plant Flue Gas Treatment systems. After working for a short time in Panalpina company for Kemerköy and Yeniköy Thermal Power Plants Flue Gas Treatment facilities project, he undersigned conventional railway transportation projects between Turkey and Europe in partnerships, first with Egemen Transportation and then Terminal International Transportation. In 2004, he started working at SDV HOROZ company and established VESTEL's Container Field in Manisa and managed all its traffic. He earned the first Offshore Container Site Management Quality certificate in Turkey in 2005. Until 2015, he worked as the İzmir Manager of the Marine Operations Export department. While working in a German company, he read the "Speditions Kaufmans Lehre" "International Logistics Management" textbooks that were constantly delivered to him. He participated in educational presentations and panels at universities where he was frequently invited as a speaker. He taught "Introduction to Logistics", "International Logistics Management" and "International Logistics Legislation" courses between 2016 and 2019 with the invitation of Yaşar University. Since 2016, he has been working as a Coordinator at Mustafa Önal Ağır Nakliyat.
