Krin Mann, PhD

I’m a plant research scientist working to better understand how pathogens such as viruses cause disease in food crops. Understanding how viruses trigger disease and transmit from plant to plant helps us learn how to prevent disease spread and protect our global food supply. I am also deeply engaged in studying the medical and pharmaceutical applications of plant products for the purpose of improving the health of humans and our environment. I am an award winning presenter with a talent for conveying information effectively to audiences from a wide range of backgrounds. My talent for innovation has been a driving force behind my career success and novel discoveries, and I enjoy leading a project to completion.
