Krista Carter

Krista has over 20 years’ experience in the environmental field. She is experienced in health and safety procedures, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), DOT ESA Screenings and Phase I ESAs, sampling and analysis of soil, groundwater, materials, surface water, and wastewater, and data interpretation and management. She is also experienced in underground storage tank (UST) site closure, removal, and remediation projects. Additionally, Krista has assisted various Economic Development entities in preparing site-specific data, including utility and infrastructure, and environmental due diligence for future marketing efforts for industrial and commercial development. For the past few years, Krista has worked diligently to perfect the HUD HEROS (NEPA) review process that includes refinancing of loans (223f), substantial rehabilitation (223f/221d4) and new construction projects (221d4). The HUD HEROS Environmental Review process includes multiple factors including Air Quality, Airports, Coastal Barrier Resources, Coastal Zone Management, Floodplain Management, Historical Resources, Noise Assessments, Endangered Species, Environmental Justice, Sole Source Aquifers, and much more! Constant client and Federal agency contact are key for Krista to continue to perform HEROS reviews at a high level! She also has a love for freelance photography in my downtime! It's a lifelong passion she can't wait to pursue more of that dream!
