Krista Moegling

Hello! I have graduated from the University of Mount Union with my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science as well as three minors in Sport Business, Physical Education Pedagogy, and Athletic Coaching Leadership. My career aspirations are to work in the sports performance and personal training fields as well as working in the education field. As of my spring semester at Mount Union in 2018, I have accepted a wonderful opportunity of being a Teaching Assistant in the Strength and Conditioning lab portion of the course. Being involved with this position has helped me realize that I would love to teach my passion for exercise science/strength and conditioning to high school students looking to go into this field down the road. Also in the same semester (Spring 2018), I took a Corporate and Worksite Wellness course where I realized my passion for the corporate fitness/employee wellness field. Here, I have created a corporate wellness project filled with information and ideas on how to improve upon employee wellness. Additionally in the course, I gave a Lunch and Learn talk to several staff members who participate in the wellness program at Mount Union about fad diets and how they may affect different people. I have great time management and organizational skills due to many years of balancing academics, athletics, volunteering, and other activities. I am always sure to have my tasks done to the best of my abilities before the deadline.
