I have worked in Critical Care Nursing since 1993. My speciality is cardiac care. I gained my first ICU experience at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I learned ICU nursing during my four years caring for Coronary Care Unit ICU patients at Johns Hopkins. I then spent 15 years working at Boston Children's Hospital in the Cardiovascular ICU. The past 6 years of my career have been at Brigham and Women's hospital where I currently work in the Cardiac Surgical ICU. I care for patients and I also train new staff how to care for Cardiac ICU patients.
