Why do I love working in Human Resources? Whenever an employee comes to me with an issue and I'm able to resolve it or connect them with the resource they need...It feels great!!! Sometimes it's just listening, sometimes it's giving advice and the most fun is telling someone "you got the job!" I'll be honest, I didn't think my path would take me to public service work but, apparently it's where I'm supposed to be in life right now. I don't have your typical professional or educational background of a Benefits Coordinator, but the experience I have gotten in the past ten years have been invaluable. Between benefits management, leading a Health and Wellness Committee, planning events, employee communications, customer service and all the other things that make up a work day, I have come to truly appreciate the "work" of Human Resources.
