Kristie Roldan has worked as a freelance theatrical designer and also with excellent lighting teams at Disney Imagineering, Visual Terrain, and Intensity Advisors. From projects at Disneyland for the 50th & 60th Anniversary celebrations to the popular TED conference in Long Beach, Roldan uses her skills and talent to make any environment come alive for the audience. She has worked on local Emmy award winning productions in San Diego and Detroit as well as the spellbinding Ashes and Snow exhibit in Santa Monica. Roldan’s theatrical designs have been seen on tour nationally as well as around the world in cities such as Vancouver, Seoul, and Warsaw. She has designed and assisted for many theatre, opera and dance companies including: The Geffen Playhouse, the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Disney Hall, the Getty Center, Los Angeles Theater Center, Method Contemporary Dance, and Speak Theater Arts. Roldan’s most recent theatrical work includes: the It Gets Better national tour and All Hail the Queen with Lesli Margherita.
