Kristine Choi

After a severe arm injury, I went from pursuing a degree in Music Performance as a violinist to a double major in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. This was a much needed push, however, to fulfill my passion for exploring the intersection between the human mind and computer brain as well as for using technology to create social change. As a concertmaster of world-renowned orchestral programs, I learned how to lead a 120-person team through collaboration and communication. As a small-group chamber musician, I learned to recognize and bring out strengths of each team member. As a solo violinist, I learned to tackle difficult passages in sections while also expanding my stamina, focus, and discipline. Now, I am ready to bring these skill sets to the workforce. I quickly realized after diving into the world of computer science that these skills are not only wanted but also necessary in the tech field. I will be returning to Microsoft as a PM intern for Summer 2021. Let's connect!
