Since I have you reading, want to know what I believe is the most important part of Scrum? It's a topic I'm very passionate about. Retrospectives are absolutely the most important. It is when the team gets together looking at their successes and failures and what they can learn from them. It is their chance to try something new, even if the team is doing nothing but succeeding already. It teaches us continual improvement - which isn't only important in the context of Scrum, but is also important as a personal value in your every day life.
