Krupal Patel

I was born in Zimbabwe and moved to Florida when I was 14 years old. While attending college I worked in the Real Estate industry as a Title Agent, running a small company in Ocala, Florida. After I graduated college, I was fortunate enough to get a job with The Boeing Company and moved to Seattle, WA. I was lucky enough to get married and have moved to Victoria, BC. I started with the Boeing Company in July 2008, after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a B.S in Industrial Engineering and Management Information Systems. I completed my M.B.A. At the University of Victoria in 2018. My experience as an Industrial Engineer on the Boeing 777 program has also given me the chance to lead diverse projects which have developed my interpersonal and project management skills. I have worked in the Supplier Management Department as an Industrial Engineer, performing annual assessments as well as providing support to suppliers in need. I have had the chance to work in factories worldwide, including, Germany, Australia, India, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. My projects have ranged from supporting operations of companies that are transitioning ownership, to establishing metrics and targets that drive and guide executive decisions. I have learned a lot from each of my projects, and from the people I have worked with. I enjoy spending time with family, travelling and exploring new cultures. When I have time I teach Operations Management and Supply Chain at Royal Roads University and work on Operations Excellence related projects with BC Pension.
