Kunal Jindal

I am an entrepreneurial product and technology leader with a proven record in building successful products across Fortune 100 firms and also leading startups to billion-dollar turnover. I am currently working as Principal Product Manager - Technical for non profit sector at AWS, building products and solutions for non-profits. My focus is on addressing core needs of non-profits by partnering across the AWS ecosystem internally and externally. This includes SaaS players/ISVs, consulting and technology partners, internal services and various build teams. I am a boomerang at Amazon, having worked with Amazon Retail from 2014 to 2018. Previously, I was Director of Product management for Lowe's (a Fortune 40 retailer), leading a team of 25+ Product managers and 6 UX resources focussed on last-mile delivery and transportation, while working with a 100 + member dedicated development team. We built a delivery platform for Lowe's bottoms up, following latest technology stacks and microservices architecture. Previously, I have led various assignments across Amazon, , including a) as a senior Product Manager Technical (PMT) , I defined the selection of products to carry in space constrained Prime Now warehouses across 3 continents. Here, I built an assortment optimization model leveraging clustering ML techniques, b) Launched recycling channel for Amazon North America and piloted Amazon's retail footprint in secondary market in the US. C) Launched refurbished category for Amazon India by linking it to consumer returns, apart from the launch of bestseller brands (OnePlus, Lab126 led private label) and launch of buyback initiative. I also co-founded a couple of startups (one in technology, other in fashion), led a consumer electronics retail startup to billion-dollar turnover, and also worked with P&G Singapore (Asia Pacific ex-China) early in my career. I love getting more involved with latest technologies, some key focus areas being pipelines to orchestrate data flow, scaleable systems architecture specifically event driven architecture, architecture best practices, and technologies to solve supply chain problems of the future (AI/ML, Blockchain, IOT among others). I am hands on and love to build PoC leveraging cloud technologies myself. I am now certified by AWS four times. I am also certified by Google (GCP professional Architect ) and Salesforce. I am a permanent resident (Green card holder) in the United States.
