Kurt Darling

When I was thirteen I job shadowed a radio sports talk show host for a 7th grade project. I though it would be cool because I had the random thought for no particular reason "what's it like inside a radio station". So my mother pull some strings she had with some connections through her job and I was able to shadow Jason Hammer when he worked for WXNT in Indianapolis. After observing how working on the radio was done, I knew, this is what I wanted to do with my life. Three years later at the age of 16 my journey began at the Area 31 Career Center where I started as a high school sports broadcaster covering the primarily the Ben Davis Giants as well as other high school sports teams in Indianapolis. From there I went to college at Indiana State University where I continued to excel as a sports broadcaster on multiple platforms for the Indiana State Sycamores What I bring to the table is a great work ethic, and an abundance of experience and passion for what I do. Those traits have currently brought me to Louisville, Kentucky where I am employed by the highest rated radio station in the market as a News and Sports Anchor. The amazing thing is...I'm just getting started!
