Kurt Weinert

Born in Owosso, my family moved often due to my father’s military service in the USMC. Once he retired, we returned to our hometown where I earned my diploma at Corunna High School in 2005. After graduating, I worked for the local newspaper, The Argus-Press, for 9 years. Wanting a better life for my family and friends, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Michigan which I achieved in 2019. While attending college, I helped establish the first chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), an honor society for the Computing and Information Disciplines, and became apart of the Association of Computing Machinery Club (ACM), for which I served as Vice President for both. Keeping the momentum in 2019, I got certified in CPR, obtained my realtor license, and got employed by Planet Fitness, which promotes a wonderful work culture and helped foster my continual growth. Along the way, I obtained my buddy, a miniature dachshund named Groot as seen in our photo (he always hated having his picture taken).I have over 15 years of experience providing assistance to people and I look forward to helping everyone in all walks of life in buying or selling homes that fit their needs, from Shiawassee, surrounding counties, and even the greater state of Michigan.
