Kushal Banerjee

As an ACCA qualified professional and with a career spanning industry, private equity and investment banking, I bring a unique perspective and breadth of experience to senior financial and strategic roles with particularly deep knowledge of the hospitality, consumer, retail, sport and leisure sectors. My career to date has involved spending significant time working internationally across Continental Europe, the USA and Asia. Having worked in a PLC as well as privately owned companies, I am equally adept at navigating either ownership structure and well versed in communicating with a variety of stakeholder groups including PLC boards and committees, private boards, credit and equity analysts and corporate lending syndicates. Through my previous roles, I have developed significant expertise across M&A, capital markets and corporate strategy including multiple successful acquisitions and exits, integration projects, debt and equity financings including the highly publicised IPO of Manchester United and implementation of strategic board recommendations. I am a consistent high achiever with a First Class degree from Oxford, a distinction in my MBA from INSEAD and a global prize as part of my ACCA qualification which was completed in 18 months with first time passes. I am also a keen proponent of a healthy lifestyle and in my spare time, enjoy participating in endurance events having completed multiple marathons as well as numerous middle distance and IRONMAN distance triathlons.
