Born in 1969 in Ankara, Turkey. Atıl holds a BA in Finance and Marketing from Marmara University in Istanbul ,Turkey. Prior to joining General Electric Company, Atıl held various finance roles in major Turkish industrial companies as well as senior audit responsibilities in Price Water House Coopers. In 1997 Kutsal Atıl joined GE as Finance & Operations Manager responsible for ‘Plastics Business’ in Turkey and the Region. In 2000, he moved to GE Plastics Europe HQ Sourcing Finance Manager position in The Netherlands, which he held for two years, till 2002. Between the years 2002 and 2005, he became the Finance and Business Development Director for GE Energy Oil and Gas covering Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in Florence /Italy. During this role he completed several Mergers and Acquitions in North Africa and Europe. Kutsal Atıl returned to Turkey in November 2005, to join Doğuş Group. He is, currently, the CEO of Energy Business. Kutsal Atıl is married, with two children.
