The working experiences can be categorized as two major fields. One field is the area of the system software based on the knowledge of the operating system (Linux/Nucleus) and Android platform. The other field is the area of the multimedia platform which includes camera, video codec, and the knowledge of the multimedia framework. As a system software engineer, studying the internals of Linux kernel, CPU architecture, and embedded system gives me a big pleasure. Fortunately, I could post a touch driver code for TSC2007 from TI and a board support patch for A&W6410 board based on LSI S3C6410 SoC. They were already accepted in the mainline Linux kernel and you can see my codes in Linux kernel sources. Other Android and Linux related activities have been archived at my blog - http://kwangwoo.blogspot.com. As a multimedia engineer, the work of integrating ARM MALI200 3D graphics IP into a SoC which includes porting EGL driver and OpenGL-ES libraries, the development of kernel drivers for MPEG4/H.264 HW Video CODEC, and the graphics libraries can be considered as unique experiences. The speech at 3rd Korea Android Conference - Android HAL (2009) was the very 1st camera porting guidance inside Korea and used as a reference document in the cellular handset manufacturers in Korea.
