Kyle Gold

As a graduate of Portland State University, my degree in Marketing with a minor in Design Management has provided me with the tools needed to excel in brand marketing or any variety of creative business opportunity. My college experience has led me to develop a variety of skills that can be used to pioneer new brands, lead / develop marketing campaigns, analyze metrics of success, and even how to best season a bowl of Top Ramen. Throughout my college education and professional experience, I have become extremely proficient in a variety of content creation platforms. The use of programs like Qualtrics, Tableau, and the Adobe Creative Suite have allowed me to provide flourish in media creation/management, in-depth journal research, business strategy, and digital marketing. With these tools, I have been able to produce work that I'm proud of and has allowed me to tap into my love of creative design. This includes leadership of multiple digital marketing campaigns for small companies, that mixed my ability to market, design, and get way too excited in order to generate presence / sales. My pursuit of the Urban Honors College at PSU allowed me to provide insight for brand managers through my academic research and thesis on brand logos and their relationship to brand personality. Besides my studies and work experience, I am an absolute fanatic when it comes to my hobbies. I am an avid fisherman who has "absolutely" caught more fish than fingers, can spend too much time (or money) on tabletop games like Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer, and love to perpetually doodle on photoshop. With my work driven by my unique personality of odd humor, lively demeanor, and love of flannels, I aim to make a positive and entertaining addition to any team of any dedicated creatives and marketers.
