Kyle Yardley

My role in this world is to understand how things work in order to make them better and more usable. Utility is the main part of everything that I do. I have found that User Experience design is a great outlet to have an impact in that manner in this technologically driven world. My most recent UX work has been with Caravel Associates, which is a start-up incubator where we were given several different projects and needed to rapidly prototype proof of concepts as well as work with developers on some projects for a finished product. Also over the last 4 years I have had the opportunity to learn and perform various roles within the Video Production team here at BYU including, video control, engineering, replay, graphics, technical director, and camera operator (mounted and shoulder cam). My main role during events has been video control and more recently the engineering portions of that role. I have worked to help produce a more technically capable and more adaptable show.
