My career path has been a long and winding road that has provided me with the stepping stones and learnings that I’ve needed to get to where I am today. Within each position I take I seize the opportunity to learn all I can, make great connections with everyone I encounter, and make a positive impact within my team and the larger organization. The consistency along my career path is rooted in a passion for the digital ecosystem. I have been a product manager within telecom, I have worked at development shops, and with advertising and branding agencies, and most recently I have enjoyed being the leader of digital teams both multi-disciplinary and single-discipline focused. What I love about my role as a digital director is that over the past several years I have mentored and developed people, and solutions for the companies that I work for, and the clients that I work to serve. My past experience allows me to help individuals on my team find solutions to better their client relationships, or improve digital products, or challenge one another to think differently and from a different perspective in order to find the best solution. My passion for digital is also supported by my interest in research and strategy. Using data in both qualitative and quantitative forms to support a recommendation or proposed hypothesis. Data and digital go together, and to have a love and equal respect for both is important when striving for success. Within my next role, I am looking for a position that allows me to sit at a table with brilliant, minded leaders who are open and empathetic to a new way of thinking. A group of people who support one another and who keep the human element of the work we do at the center of the equation. Both in terms of the people doing the work, and the people that the work impacts in the world. I am looking to lead and guide digital strategy as a partner with other business leaders on a single-minded goal that is supported by the larger organization. I am looking for a partnership within my next company both with the team that I lead and the leadership that I would report to.
