Lance Penhale

Originally from Nikiski, Alaska, Lance has 8 Years of experience with First Command Financial Services and has been a client since graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2010. He is also a 2021 Forty under 40 Awardee from the Alaska Journal of Commerce and Anchorage Daily News. He started his post-military career as a Financial Advisor in Aiea, Hawaii. He served the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard communities throughout the island of Oahu. He takes great pride and finds purpose in coaching military families in their pursuits of financial security. Additionally, he was the Senior Assistant Wrestling Coach at Admiral Arthur W. Radford High School. He soon realized the importance of finding and mentoring the next generation of Financial Advisors. In March of 2018, Lance was asked to move to Fort Worth, Texas to serve as an Associate Director for First Command’s Field Force Training Team and a primary instructor for the new advisor training program. In March 2020, Lance was blessed with the opportunity to return home to Alaska, where he was born and raised, to serve as the District Advisor, Registered Principal, and as the local Hiring Authority. In that capacity, his primary objective is to hire high-character leaders, interested in dedicating themselves to serving as Financial Advisors and coaches to the military and local communities. He's responsible for First Command's operations across the entire state of Alaska and currently has offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau.
