Lapo Galligani

In december 2011 I got my degree in energy engeneering. My final work dealt with CFD simulation on a commercial centrifugal pump with the aim to improve performance in cavitating conditions. After my degree, at the beginning of january 2012 I started working with Techinconsult, an engeneering company specialized in the design, construction and validation of industrial facilities, focused on pharmaceutical plants. One of the core activities of Techniconsult is the design of HVAC systems, so I started helping improve this activity using my skill in CFD simulations. Now my principal occupation is to provide CFD simulations for Techniconsult Firenze with the aim of improving the design phase from scratch, and solving problems affecting existing systems. Given the importance of this activity, in 2013 Techiniconsult created a dedicated CFD division named T-CFD, of which I'm responsible. During this period I started analyzing multiphase flows for the Pharmaceutical Industry Research. In october 2012 I got my professional qualification in Industrial Engeering from Florence University.
