Lars obtained a Diplom (Masters Degree) from Karlsruhe University in chemical engineering, water chemistry and chemical processes. Lars was leading the development, testing and certification of the SeaCURE Ballast Water Management System for Siemens Water Technologies since 2008 in different responsibilities. He has many years of experience in the water & waste water industry and has gained first hand maritime experience as project manager for the treatment of ship’s grey and black water. Lars joined Siemens in 2004 as a specialist for industrial infrastructure focusing on the supply of water in different qualities and waste water management. From 2010 to 2013 he worked for Siemens Water Technologies in New Jersey, USA. Currently he is responsible for business development of the maritime portfolio of Evoqua. In this position he is identifying worldwide partners for sales, production and service. He is living with his wife and two kids in Hamburg, Germany.
