Proper Scrumptious originally started as a food blog. A place to share my love of eating out at restaurants and experimenting in the kitchen. But I’ve always loved exploring, from discovering hidden gems right here in the North East to falling in love with foreign cities. I document our travels and want to share what we learn along the way, wherever we are in the world. Our rescue dog, Jax, plays a big part in my posts now too. I’ve become obsessed with finding new dog-friendly spots, whether that be a good walking route, pint pit-stop or for some cracking grub.
