About
I retired from full time work as a teacher at a Day Hab for Special Needs Adults, last August, 2015. I now work part-time with special needs children. However, I enjoy writing and have always wanted to become a published author, and minister to people through my writings. I attended the Roanoke Christian Writers Conference, held at the Library in Roanoke, Texas, in September 2015. A poem I wrote, "Welcome to the Night" won the award for Adult Poetry. I am working on my first novel. I hope to write many more poems and stories. I am also searching for a publisher for the poem and a few magazine articles I have ready to release, about my "Adventures in Autism Land". I am excited about all that the Lord has for me in this new phase of my life.
