Laura Smith

I have recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree of Social Science, Psychology and Forensic Science. I am educated in psychology, research and data analysis, criminology, policing; systems and practice snd the Australian legal system. I am skilled in report writing with the use of appropriate and professional language. I am knowledgeable in a number of statistical analysis programs including; Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), Excel and Statistical Analysis System (SAS). I am currently employed as a Retail Manager. I have transferable knowledge that will be valuable, including coordinate scheduling, delivery and monitoring of programs, support in the promotion, recruitment, training and supervision of peers and actively participate in staff meetings and briefs. I contribute to the workplace by demonstrating my ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, customers and stakeholders. I am able to self-manage and work efficiently by planning and prioritising to meet timelines. My studies and work experience have taught me how to become a highly developed communicator with outstanding capabilities in complex problem-solving and conflict resolution. I now wish to move into full time employment and build a career. I believe the skills I have obtained will help me to become successful in a in a new and challenging role.
