With a nuanced eye for photography and 16 years of publishing experience, I lead and assist authors, scholars, publishers, content producers, marketing teams with the often daunting task of photo research, editing, permissions, and image management with efficiency and ingenuity. I am able to bring my photography, copyright, and digital asset management expertise to publishing teams to help streamline their process and achieve success. My extensive experience includes fine arts, architecture, academic, and trade publishing, photography direction and digital editing, project management, team building and leadership, print and digital production, non-profit management, and certification in U.S. And global copyright management practices. This experience allows me to navigate teams through the complex processes of digital asset research, acquisition, archiving, and distribution. I also am very well versed in fee and contract negotiations, and pre-press work for projects ranging from international publications and broadcasts to touring exhibitions and more.
