My personal goal is to direct the charity that I founded to help people on a national basis. I am very much a believer that in our current society we are facing an epidemic, whereby people will literally do anything to be their idea of normal. For some, this borders onto an obsession, whether that be over diet, exercise, plastic surgery, skin care, picking, feeling, hiding...These sufferers need to know that there is support and care out there. I have managed to set up a local charity which offers one on one therapy, group therapy and self esteem workshops to schools within the district all totally free of charge. We are the only charity in the country to offer support to sufferers of BDD and the only charity in the county to offer all of our care system free of charge. Last year BODY Charity was given national status and now I want to push this project across the country. My aim is to get this same high level of support offered to every area of the UK, so that people can always get free of charge help within an hours commute.
