Lauren Jackson

In 2018 I began my career in Technology, I started at Barclays on the Higher Apprenticeship scheme which allowed me to go to University and study Digital and Technology Solutions. During this time I was assigned the role of a beginner Software Engineer, this then lead me to choose the Software Engineering pathway at University. During which time I developed my skills in Java, HTML and CSS. After some time in this role I then decided it wasn't the perfect fit for me. I spent some time dabbling in Solution Architecture before I then became a Business Analyst for the Wealth Area of the bank. In the Summer of 2022 I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, with a BSc (Hons) degree in digital & technology solutions with Software Engineering. I then rolled off my apprenticeship scheme becoming a full time Business Analyst for Barclays Wealth Tech pod.
