Laurie Delaney-Barry

During her Industrial Participation career Laurie has delivered several IRB/ITB projects for industry from cradle to grave, spanning multiple sectors with obligations approaching 1 billion dollars. Activities involve developing IRB/ITB plans and transactions, providing strategic advice regarding the Industrial Participation policy, developing and delivering training to better understand and navigate the ever changing policy guidelines, technology matching for industry and academia, conducting business to business meetings seeking suppliers with advanced technologies, tracking, auditing and reporting IP programs, and participating with government verifications seeking award of Canadian content credits. Laurie has developed and maintained relationships with a large number of federal government departments and regional development agencies involved in defence and security contracting. In addition, she has executive level contacts with Canadian and international prime contractors and subcontractors to the federal government in the aerospace and defence sectors. Laurie is a founding member of the non-profit Industrial Participation Association of Canada (IPAC). She holds a seat on the executive committee as Treasurer.
