Since 2006, I have honed my commercial and industrial appraising skills through the Office of the Assessor. I tackle the tough stuff, mostly handling escalated complaints, complex appraisal issues, compliance and employee issues. I steer the department technologically speaking, ensuring our systems are constantly being updated to comply with legislative changes and keeping up with the times. I often implement policy to reflect the changing needs of our internal and external users. I have also performed services as an expert witness for the US Bankruptcy court in Columbia, and advised several banks on the values of their assets during the financial crash in 2008. I am a : State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, certified expert witness US bankruptcy court, (Columbia district) state certified appraisal course instructor and provider through Southeastern Seminars.(owner) Subject matter expert(SME), sales data collection and verification for the appraisal practices board, an advisory board to the Appraisal Foundation
