Leandra Vanessa Louis

I am a highly skilled individual whose primary focus these last few years has been administrative law. I have 12 yrs experience in civil litigation. I have worked primarily on cases which have gone to the Divisional Court and Court of Appeal. My legal and litigation expertise have been honed while doing appeals and judicial reviews. I have also had the opportunity to work with lawyers on cases which have had significant legal impact - Survivall, Ansell, Tranchemontagne, Special Diet and the Migrant Workers JR at the Federal Court. I am interested in the possibility of building on my employment experience in the legal sector that will provide me with more significant and relevant experience, knowledge and exposure to the legal field. My Paralegal Studies have provided me with a valuable education background which has only been strengthened through my work. I have developed an abundant amount of experience working in an office environment providing support to senior legal counsel. I am capable of succeeding in any legal environment because I have the skills, experience, determination and motivation to succeed. I am knowledgeable on Tribunals and other Administrative bodies. I am very familiar with the Rules of Civil Procedure, SPPA, and Practice Guidelines of the Small Claims Court, the LTB, WSIB, HRTO, just to name a few. My goal at this time is to broaden my experience in a legal environment by finding new opportunities where I can continue to fight for justice and equality whether it is at the Tribunal; SBT, HRTO, LTB or the court level; Divisional Court, Court of Appeal, Small Claims Court or Provincial court. I look forward to any interesting challenges that come my way – in the legal world, there’s always a new challenge.
