Lee Bordelon

I completed my trade at Avoyelles Vo-Tech in Cotton Port Louisiana. My course was based on a 21 month course and I completed it in 7 months. I worked for my Fathers business from the age of 14 years old until the age of 23. We had the contract with Amoco for all Tuscaloosa wells to rig hook up from 1979 to 1989 for every drilling rig working for Amoco, At the end of 1989 I hired on with Dickson GMP International working in the gulf of Mexico then move over to their overseas division and spent three or so years. I then opened my own fabrications business; (Bayou Welders) at the end of 1994 then received a call from GIS in April of 1995 with a offer I could not refuse and here we are today. GIS has offered so many opportunities in my past 20 years I can't begin to count. I started at the age 30 and I will make 51 next February 6th. I still take pride in everything I do and enjoy doing it.
