Leigh Valentine

I have worked for eleven years since graduating from the University of Reading after studying Film and Theatre. The majority of this time I have worked for the NHS, and for the last eight years in IT roles. I have extensive experience in over the phone IT support and customer service, and am an experienced trainer, who's confident and knowledgeable nature makes me the ideal candidate to stand up in front of classrooms and deliver training and presentations. I have experience developing e-learning, to the extent that I have introduced new methods of learning in our NHS Trust to help engage users and promote new systems, including games and scenario based learning, which earned me a recognising excellence nomination for my work. Although I do not work in Film and Theatre after studying it, I keep my interests in this field active from a hobby point of view, volunteering as a costumer for various charities where I interact with people of all ages and play various roles, as well as volunteering for amateur films. I also edit photographs for a hobby and have built up skills in basic graphic design and editing, which I bring to my training and e-learning in the development of materials. I'm also an amateur writer and have experience writing both fiction from a hobby point of view and non-fiction for creating training materials in the work place.
