About

I am the Director of Business Attraction for the Greater Peoria EDC and am excited to introduce businesses to the strategic advantage, great quality of life, and community of peers that have impacted the world right here from Central Illinois. "If it plays in Peoria" rings true for companies looking to make a global impact. From 2010 - 2015, I lived in St. Louis, MO where I held positions as the Grants and Program Director at Citizens for Modern Transit and at Washington University in St. Louis where I helped launch the Danforth Center on Religion and Politics as its Assistant Director. My work in St. Louis built upon my experience in 8 states on the 2008 Presidential Campaign, where my responsibilities ranged from Field Organizer to Religious Outreach Coordinator to Midwest Operations Director to Presidential Transition Team Welcome Center Manager. During graduate school, I interned with the Pew Forum on Religion and the Public Life and the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy further exploring topics like the role of religion in government and the influences of racism and poverty on society.I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Greenville College, as well as Masters Degrees from both Wesley Theological Seminary and American University's School of International Service in Washington, D.C. I moonlight in wine and have passed the Level 1 Sommelier exam and the WSET Level 2 exam.
