Before USWeb he was the VP, Interactive Marketing at AOL where he was liaison to the ad agency community and authored AOL’s first advertising business plan. From 1991 to 1997, Leo was head of the media consulting firm, Scullin & Company. After spending 17 years in the Media department at Young & Rubicam in NYC, he co-founded and was Publisher and Music Editor of Men's Life magazine, a publication of (Rupert) Murdoch Magazines. While at Y&R, Leo was the SVP, Director of Print Media and the Director of New Electronic Media, and served as Chairman of the AAAA Magazine Committee. Leo also served as a member of the Board of Directors for Solbright Inc. from 1997-2001.
