My career to date has provided me with fundamental skills and experience in Control Systems, Project Management and Software Development and Leadership. I was responsible for project managing the customised programming of the automated control system for two new satellite processing plants for a mining company. This included writing detailed specifications for programmers, project plans, schedules and quality management. I gained leadership skills in the supervision of various contractors on this these projects, such as Engineers, Programmers, Construction Crew and Electricians. I designed and implementing a customised commodity management and SCADA control system. I installed and commissioned this software control system for a number of different sites. • Two new grain terminals in Newcastle and Port Kembla • Grain handling facilities in country Victoria and NSW • Upgrading grain terminals in a number of shipping ports across Australia and overseas, Geelong, Portland, Outer Harbour, Port Lincoln, Mactan-Philippines and a flour plant in Vietnam. • Commissioning two new Stacker/Reclaimers on a coal loading terminal at Haypoint, QLD. • Modifying and supporting a processing plant. I am now developing and integrating the Platform Management System for the SEA1180 and SEA5000 class ships for the Australian Navy. I am using my System Engineering knowledge gained from the mining and agriculture industry to integrate the control platform and maritime safety control procedures. I am also learning new skills such as ship propulsion systems and cyber security. I also have experience in working with Schneider PLCs, Fuji PLCs, Beckoff Twincat and Yokogawa CS3000 / VP DCS Systems.
