As a Adult Learning Professional and Instructional Designer at the Sherwin-Williams company, I designed specialized curriculum (HR. Sales, Finance, R&D, Safety, etc.), ILT training, blended learning, e-learning courses using Articulate Storyline, and instructional materials. Created training based on Adult Learning methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.). As an adult educator, I consider myself an employee's advocate to ensure the training I create meets their needs to be successful in their role while developing a engaging learning experience the ignites their desire to learn. Additionally, I accomplish this goal by having an outstanding working relationship with SMEs. The collaboration with SMEs is essential to provide the correct insight on specified training. These relationships solidifies the goals of the organization, employee development and employee engagement. Additional responsibilities included completing annual gap analyses on current training curriculum, programs and courses to verify learning needs and competencies are being met. I was also responsible for troubleshooting issues with courses in the LMS, working with IT to test new courses using new technology in LMS, uploaded courses to employees, maintained Division training records, and provided Completion Metrics to Division Leadership.
