I provide UK, Mexican, and international legal and tax advisory services to funds, companies and individuals. I have advised British, Mexican and multinational clients, including private equity funds, in matters that involve constitutional law, administrative law, tax law, tax advisory in general, and tax litigation, as an LLB graduate in 2015 (UIA), as a fully qualified lawyer in Mexico since 2016, as an LLM graduate in 2020 (LSE), and as an SQE2 graduate in 2023, studying for SQE1 in order to qualify as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales. My practice includes tax structuring services, tax due diligence procedures, review of SPA, investment agreements and other legal documents from a legal and tax perspective, financial forecast model review from a tax standpoint, the review, preparation and filing of legal writs before judicial, administrative and tax authorities, the assessment of tax audits and enquiries, the conduction of meetings and negotiations with clients and authorities, the elaboration and drafting of legal opinions, memos, agreements, documents and consultations, the initiation of claims, procedures and trials before administrative authorities and judicial tribunals, including mediation proceedings, tax planning, including real estate matters, consultation and negotiation in the incorporation, acquisition, reorganisation, merger and de-merger of companies (M&A Tax). Additionally, I have experience in domestic and international taxation matters including the interpretation and application of provisions and benefits under double tax treaties. In my career and academic path I have always showed a special interest for Intellectual Property, having also prior experience in Corporate, Data Privacy and Telecommunications Law.
