Leondrea Smith

Initially I started college with the hopes of one day becoming an attorney but, like most students I soon realized that I didn't have a true passion for it. I took an accounting class as an elective and fell in love! I said to myself, "WOW people will pay me to count their money". I now know that its much more involved than that simple concept but, it was the day I realized I wanted to be an accountant. I have spent the last 3+ years starting at the ground level in accounts payable, learning how everything comes together and within a year moved up to the general ledger. I've perfected my attention to detail, and learned that to be a good accountant one must be a good investigator. My skills include: Great internal and external communication, ability to analyze, bank reconciliations, journal entries, gross margin, accruals, pre-paid, balance sheet reconciliations, and many more.
