Leonel Pestana

After graduating, with an Electrical Engineering MSc degree at Porto University, i was accepted for a 9 month Internship at EDP, where i came closer to the professional life and the Energy world. There I had the opportunity to leave my mark, by conceiving and implementing several continuous improvement tools. Despite being an internship program without continuity, i ended up being hired by EDP, where i remain and continue to be part of the Grid Connections department. I consider myself a curious person, who likes to challenge himself and also to live one day at a time. Trekking through nature is one of my passions, probably because I lived most of my life on the beautiful Madeira Island.
