Lequita McFarlane

A highly competent and motivated individual, who uses strong interpersonal skills and teamwork skills to build rapport and achieve success. I thrive as a team player and can manage and organise teams effectively and follow instructions efficiently. I also work strongly as an individual, with good time-management skills that have allowed me to juggle various roles and responsibilities whilst ensuring that deadlines are met by setting goals and targets. A fast learner, I am quick to learn new skills and easily adapt to new challenges and situations. I have spent time working as a Teaching Assistant, providing educational support to students of all ages, with various special needs. This has involved 1-2-1 guidance with students throughout the school week, requiring intuition to tailor my teaching to meet the needs of each student. I have had to demonstrate my strong communication skills and maintain a high level of patience to connect with them, as I have been providing support for various subjects. Additionally, I have been able to show my creativity by producing new learning materials as well as planning lessons. I am now looking for a new opportunity to build upon and develop my existing personal and professional skills in a different capacity.
